The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.0)

This information about the numbers of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020. The four sectors of the economy is that Manufacutring, Retail, Agriculture and Healthcare.

In 60 years of the economy in the US Retail jobs was very high. But Agriculture jobs was very low in the US. In 1980 year Manufacturing jobs was 20 millions.

Now this type of jobs demanding was very low in the US. In the US everyone has to do their own business for economy growth. because in four sectors jobs ratio was drop dwon every year.

In the US 1960 year healthcare jobs was rising next 60 years. because health was very important for the humans. Health is the first priority for the people in the US.

In agriculture jobs was dropping every year. Because in the US on one like to do agriculture jobs. Other country export food in the US. That's why economy growth has major changing in four sectors.
