The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

the given line graph depitcts the number of jobs in 4 different sectors, mainly manufacturing,retail, agriculture and healthcare in the united state from 1960 to 2020.from a cursory glance it is manifest that jobs will increase im the healthcare in future.

overall there will be upward trend in the health sectore jobs and manufacturing and agriculture jobs will decrease in the us in near future.

it can be seen from the graph that more people are hired in the manufacturing jobs with 15% in 1960. in 1980 it drpped upto 20% with sharply decrease in2020 approximately 12%. in retail sector it rose gradully from 5 %to 15 in future.

in 1960 the agriculture industry job was 5% and then fall to 3%. it remain same in the fololowing years . healthcare sector jobs will dramatically growing in from 1860 to 2020 from 3% to 16%.
