The graph below depicts information about number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the us between 1960 and 2020.
overall, it is evident that the Number of jobs in Reatil and Healthcare was increase significantly, whereas manufacturing secotor after 1980 declined sharply. Meanwhile, gradually declined in Agriculture sector.
It can be seen that in 1960, 6 millinon job in Agriculture and Retail, but they folow contractually trend over the period. in 2020, Retail was stood at above 16 millions, compared with 2 millions for Agriculture. Moreover, Healthcare sector was increased significantly over the period, which was topped at 16 million with Retail sector in the year 2020.
Last but not the least, 15 millions job in Manufacturing which was highest accountable in the year 1960, it was rose with more 5 million jobs till next two decades. while, In the further year it was fell steadily. Furthermore, After 2000, it was not topped because declined trend started.
