The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

With the help of this graph, we summarise the information data by selecting and reporting and this graph shows us numebr of jobs in four sectors between 1960 and 2020.

In 1960,there are 15 million jobs in manufacturing industry. It raised in 1980 and increased jobs upto 20 million and 2000, it caem back on 17 million jobs. In 2020, the maunfacturing industry fall back to13 million jobs.

In retail Business, there are 6 million jobs in 1960. It raised in 1980, round about 10 million jobs inceased in this industry. In 2000,there are 15 million jobs and in 2020, it increased upto 21 million jobs.

In agriculture industry, 6 million jobs offered to employes in 1960 and its decreasing upto 4 million jobs in 1980, 3.5 milion jobs in 2000 and 2.5 million jobs in 2020.In Healthcare field, round about 2.5 million jobs in 1960 and in 1980 it increased upto 5 million. In 2000, 11 millions jobs offered to employes and in 2020 it increases upto 16 million jobs.

In conclusion, we disscused the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.
