The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
Information regarding four sectors is presented in the line graph, which illustrates the numbers of jobs of the economuy in the US, over the period between 1960 to 2020.
overall, it is evident that the number of job increased substantly over the period ,despite some flutuation . The figure of retail and healthcare as recorded the highest point at the end of period whereas agriculture had lowest number of job at the beginning.
looking first at manufacturingwas recorded the increased steadily at around 15 number in 1960 to approximately 20 in 1980 . Although it was recorded the declined considerably at the end of period .Meanwhile retail experience recorded the grew significantly around 5 number in 1960 to 17 number of jobs in 2020.
turning the remaining figure the number of jobs in agriculture and healthcare was followed by diffrent patterns. Initially, the figure of agriculture fell considerably at 5 number in 1960 to slightly lower in 3 numbers of job at the end of period . Subsequently, healthcare had reached rose considerbely at 3 number of job in 1960 to 16 number in 2020 . By comparison retail and healthcare continues to show and upward trend eventually recorded the highest number of jobs of the economy in the US.
