The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line graph illustrate the porportion of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US from 1960 to 2020.

To begin with, the jobs consists of four sectors which were manufacturing, retail, agriculture and healthcare . The highest number of jobs was in betweeen 15-20 and the lowest was between 0-5.

furthermore, in 1960 the jobs number were increasing in all four sectors whereas, the healthcare was between 0-5 , agriculture and retail between 5-10 and maanufacturing was between 15-20. The agriculture is decreasing in all there years that is in 1980,2000 and 2020 and rise is 1960 only. Also, the manufacturing was rise in 1980 and fall in 2000 and 2020. However, the retail and healthcare has increased in all four years.

Overall, the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy has rise and fall according to the year that is [redacted phone] and the numbers of individuals.
