The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line chart ilustrate the information about number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US from 1960 to 2020.

Thischart show the comparison between four different sectors of job in US like agriculture,retail,manufacturing and healthcare from 1960 to 2020.

Healthcare jobs gradually increased from 1960 to 2020. As there were 2 millions jobs in 1960 that was going to incrrease in 1980 with 5 million numbers, 10 millions in 2000 and lastly 15 millions in2020.

Retail jobs increased moderately as 5 million in 1960, 10 millions in 1980 and then stabeled at 2000 and 2020.

Manufacturing jobs started with 15 millons in 1960 to 20 millions in1980 wich was the highest oneas compared to others and gradually decrease with 16 millions in 2000 and end with 14 millions in 2020.

Agricultural jobs had not too much diffrence in increasing these were same slightly change appeared.It was 5 milloion in 1960 and was stable from 1980 to 2020.
