The graph below gives information about the number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US between 1960 and 2020.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
This graph provides information about the trends of jobs in four sectors of economy in the US between 1960 to 2020. There are tow basic general trends: downward and upward.
As regard the first, jobs in the manufacturing sector were 20 millions in 1980 and down over the years falling to 15 million in 2020.
By contrast, jobs in health care sector significantly increased from 2 millions to 16 million over the years.
Furthermore, jobs in retail sector were gradually increasing from 6 millions to 16 million ending up just like healthcare sector. As far as agriculture sector concerned, 6 millions jobs in 1960 steadily decreased to 3 millions in 2020.
it is noticeable that the jobs in health care sector has been rocketed as compared to other sectors.
