Number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US, 1960-2020
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The graphs shows about the number of jobs produced in USA over 50 years i.e. from 1980 to 2020 in four notable sectors.
Over 50 years there's a drastic change in job market of two sectore as its evident from the graph.
health sector and retail sector boosts up over the time as that is the need of hour. During 1980 there's least number of jobs are available in health sector, which are less than 5 milliond job but over the period these jobs are increasing as in 2020 they reached the milestone of above 15 million jobs per year. Thats a huge victory in health sector.
Other least job producing sector was tied with agriculture in back dates but now increased is the retail sector, because hight market demand its importance boosts up over the time as in 1980, only 5-6 million jobs were produced in this sector but in 2020 its over 15 million jobs per years.
One of the concering factor is the decline in agriculture field, its alarming that in 2020 only 1 or 2 million jobs are profuced in this sector.
while the manufacturing job is always a high demand job over the time as in 1980 15 million jobs were created later in 1990 it touched almost 20 million job but now after flatuations they are stable at almost 13 million jobs.
Overall all job sectors are doing well instead of agriculture as scientists now try to grow things in labs rather than cultivate on soil.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the task only partially. While the student attempts to report the main features and makes some comparisons, the selection of data is somewhat inaccurate and incomplete. For instance, the opening states the timeframe is 'from 1980 to 2020', which misreads the start date of 1960 shown on the graph. Additionally, the overview contains unsupported outside speculation, such as stating that scientists now try to grow things in labs. Some trends are under-developed or vague, and the mechanical referencing of dates and sectors lacks a fully clear overview of the overall visual data.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation evident in the division of sectors into separate paragraphs, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. Paragraphing is somewhat rudimentary and lacks appropriate linking structures between ideas. Cohesive devices are either repetitive or inadequate, making the transitions between sentences disjointed. For example, phrases like 'over the time' and 'back dates' are used clumsily, and the referencing of different time periods lacks smooth logical sequencing, resulting in a somewhat fragmented flow that impedes the overall readability of the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, but this is accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word formation that can cause some difficulty for the reader. Instances of awkward phrasing include 'boosts up over the time', 'need of hour', 'least number of jobs are available', and 'concering factor'. Spelling and morphological slips, such as 'milliond' and 'flatuations', further indicate that vocabulary control is restricted to a basic level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response employs a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences, while attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in verb tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and articles. Examples include 'The graphs shows', 'During 1980 there's least number of jobs are available', '1 or 2 million jobs are profuced', and 'manufacturing job is always a high demand job'. These frequent errors in grammar and punctuation can cause strain for the reader.
