Number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US, 1960-2020
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given diagram shows the difference of four sector in USA, in 1960s to 2020s. The four sector they mentioned is first one is manufacturing, second one is retail, least but not last is agriculture and the last one is healthcare. In manufacturing sector having in a difficult situation or we can say they are in downfall, because in 1960s they having 15 millions jobs, gradually on peak in 1980s but they are now in downfall.
In second we talk about the retail sector their economy trend is increasing in 1960s they have round about 6 millions of jobs but it gradually increasing day by day in 2020s they have almost 15 millions plus jobs
Third one is agriculture sector they have also in downfall their job market is decreasing day by day. Fourth and last one is healthcare, their trend is also increasing day and not its on peak similarly as it as retailer.
In my prospective i think the trend of manufacturing sector is decreasing because of AI, automic works are done by AI, like robots do tasks for example AI technology detect problems and solve it. Retial and healhcare sector is also increasing because human need is always needed in these sector like couting and in healthcare dealing with patient is done manual not done by automatic. While in the agriculture its also decreasing because new technology automatic machines and new technology is getting placed by humans.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially because it presents irrelevant personal opinions and external explanations in the final paragraph instead of focusing solely on the data. While the four sectors are identified, the main features are described with limited detail and some inaccurate figures, such as stating that manufacturing was on a peak in the 1980s without proper contextualization of the overall trend. To move up, you must present a clear overview of the main trends without introducing outside knowledge or speculation that is not supported by the chart.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organization with paragraphs attempting to separate the introduction, body details, and conclusion, but there is no clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are repetitive and basic, relying heavily on phrases like 'first one', 'second one', and 'third one'. Paragraphing is also somewhat confused, as the writer mixes body analysis with personal commentary in the final section. To improve, ensure that ideas are sequenced logically using a wider variety of cohesive ties, and maintain a clear paragraph structure dedicated purely to reporting data.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice and phrasing, such as 'difference of four sector', 'least but not last', and 'healhcare', which cause some difficulty for the reader. The use of repetitive lexical items like 'downfall' and 'increasing' restricts precision. To reach a higher band, you should incorporate a wider variety of precise vocabulary related to data trends and ensure correct word forms and spelling throughout the response.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response shows a very limited range of sentence structures, with attempts at complex sentences often being faulty. Frequent errors occur in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation, such as 'in 1960s they having 15 millions jobs' and 'In my prospective i think'. These frequent errors can cause difficulty and strain for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, accurate tense usage, and correct prepositions, while gradually introducing error-free complex structures.
