Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 150 words, stopping abruptly at only 103 words. Furthermore, it only partially addresses the task. While there is a basic attempt to introduce the graph and provide an overview, the body paragraphs break off mid-sentence and fail to cover all four economic sectors adequately. The details provided are limited, and the lack of completion prevents a full reporting of the main features and comparisons.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation attempted, such as an introductory sentence and an overall summary statement using transition markers like "overall". However, the response lacks overall progression and breaks down completely at the end due to the text cutting off mid-sentence. Cohesive devices are minimal and mechanical, and paragraphing is undeveloped, resulting in a text that lacks a cohesive and logical flow throughout.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary related to data trends, such as "upward trend" and "downward trend", but makes noticeable spelling and word choice errors, such as "th" instead of "the", "depected" instead of "depicted", and "cystal" instead of "crystal". These lexical inaccuracies and the restricted range reflect a basic command of vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The grammatical structures attempted are very limited, relying primarily on simple sentence forms with frequent errors. There are issues with articles (e.g., "the retail and healthcare sector"), missing prepositions, and awkward phrasing such as "15 million economy were doing job". Punctuation and capitalization are also neglected, with sentences starting in lowercase. These frequent errors across basic structures cause some difficulty for the reader.
