Number of jobs in four sectors of the economy in the US, 1960-2020
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Jobs are related to each feilds and having there prior salaries according to positions. Each sector usually have predefined budgets before appointing someone. As the trend shows us the perfect example of saturation over time in specfic to sectors. However it is the research based trend overtime from 1960 to 2020 of united states.Actually that graph consists of two informations the yearly imapact on jobs .Vertical Bar shows us that the gradually increase from zero to millions and likewise year from previous era to futuristic era. There are some job sectors in chart or a graph includes Manufacturing,Retail,Agriculture as well as Healthcare.Let's talk on Healthcare as we can see over the past some decades health have some major improvement in terms of advancements and research the graph line shows a linear increase till 2020 in jobs because as i disscused earlier more advncement means more jobs so yes the healthcare plays a huge role in todays jobs. Now retail product jobs trend is already in progress from 1960 it is almost cross five million but over the time the graph shows huge jump in jobs in market but after 2000 the line is still means it almost covers the whole market and it is enough.Moving to Manufacturing it provide top leading jobs with high pay salaries and in 1960 it is almost have huge number over 15 million but after 1980 the the graph show gradually decrease but advancement and machineary take the lead of heactic jobs working fast and precise. At last you can see agriculture it always a need for hummans as welll as animals but in 1960 it covers alot of jobs but in 1980 darastic dump in jobs beacuse the huge tractors do alot of work in less time and in precise way.In conclusion yes the jobs are becoming less today because everything is automating.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify all four sectors and describe several broad trends, including healthcare’s rise and agriculture’s decline. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because it gives little accurate, specific comparison of the figures and does not provide a clear overview of the main pattern. For example, manufacturing peaks at about 20 million in 1980 and then falls, while retail and healthcare both reach about 16 million by 2020; these key comparisons are not clearly reported. Some claims are inaccurate or unsupported: retail is not “still” level after 2000, and the conclusion that jobs are becoming fewer because of automation is not demonstrated by the graph, since retail and healthcare increase. Focus on describing the data rather than explaining causes.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some organisation: you introduce the chart, move through the sectors, and use signposts such as “Moving to Manufacturing” and “At last.” This gives the reader a basic sense of sequence. However, the response lacks clear paragraphing and a consistent progression from an overview to grouped details. Many ideas are joined in long sentences, so relationships between points are difficult to follow; for instance, the discussion of healthcare shifts from the trend to general claims about research and employment. Linking phrases such as “Actually” and “so yes” are often conversational or do not clarify the logic. Use separate paragraphs for the overview and comparisons, and connect each sentence directly to a reported trend.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “Manufacturing,” “Retail,” “Agriculture,” “Healthcare,” “increase,” and “decrease,” so the subject is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and many word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning unclear. Phrases such as “two informations,” “the line is still,” and “darastic dump in jobs” do not express the intended data precisely. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “feilds,” “specfic,” and “advncement.” Aim for neutral, accurate chart language rather than informal or speculative expressions. Practise terms such as “rose steadily,” “declined sharply,” “remained stable,” and “reached a peak,” checking spelling and usage.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use time references to describe changes, but the range of sentence structures is limited and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in examples such as “Each sector usually have” and “it provide,” while missing or incorrect articles and sentence construction affect clarity in “the graph show gradually decrease.” Punctuation is also inconsistent: several sentences run together without spaces after full stops, and commas are often used where a full stop would make the meaning clearer. These recurring problems can make the reader work to understand your points. Build shorter, complete sentences first, then add controlled clauses such as “while” or “whereas” for comparisons.
