The retail sector also offers same number of jobs like Health care sector in 2020 but its journey was different from that at start it rose linearly till the year 2000, from 2000 to 2020 it was almost like being static just rose a little bit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the main overall patterns: manufacturing peaks in 1980 and then declines, while healthcare rises to match retail by 2020. The key figures for manufacturing and the final healthcare and retail values are broadly accurate. However, some important features are less fully reported: agriculture, which falls from about 6 million to 2 million, is omitted, and the retail trend is described without its approximate values. The overview also says healthcare grew “exponentioally,” which overstates the pattern; the graph shows a steady rise, not an exponential one. Include all four sectors and make the overview more precise, then support it with a few well-chosen figures.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, an overview, and then details comparing manufacturing, healthcare and retail. Linking expressions such as “Overall,” “In contrast,” and “also” help show relationships between the trends, and the reader can follow the main progression. This already gives the report a coherent structure. To make the progression more consistently clear, give each paragraph a more deliberate focus and include agriculture alongside the other sector comparisons rather than leaving it out. Some phrasing, such as “its journey was different from that at start,” makes the comparison less direct. Use clearer references and transitions to connect the sectors and their changes over time.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of trend vocabulary, including “rose,” “peak,” “steadily increased,” “fell,” and “static,” which helps describe changes rather than simply list figures. However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “exponentioally,” “alliend,” “comming,” “oposite trade,” and “asstimated.” Some expressions are also unnatural for a graph report: “offers highest amount of jobs” and “its journey” are less precise than standard descriptions of employment figures. Aim for accurate spelling and conventional collocations, and choose vocabulary that describes the data without exaggeration. This will make your meaning more exact and the report more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast between manufacturing and healthcare and a time clause describing retail. The main trends remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “healthcare sector grow” needs subject–verb agreement and an article, while “In year 1960 ther were” has an incorrect article pattern and a misspelled form. Tense and sentence construction are also uneven in “it has least amount of jobs” and “at start it rose.” Use consistent past-tense reporting, check articles and agreement, and punctuate longer sentences more carefully. These corrections would improve accuracy while preserving the range of structures you are attempting.
