Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the contemporary society, to provide the enough resident area the desirable way to give is by constructing the taller apartment block in the larger cities. So for the perspection, I am agree with the statement to construct the heigh apartment rather then a small houses because it protects the environment and also help to limit pople in the specific area.

Firstly,by constructing the taller houses in the city area can help we protect our natural resources and environment because by using leat area of the land we can construct a huge number of apartment while stop the people destroy the fertile land and plants for just building the house for just there family. For example, plant and animals are dependent on the nature and we are indirectly depent on the nature so by using less land spance we are protecting our and nature life. Therefore, it play a crucial role in the protection of the nature.

Secondly, if we use build the tall apartment in the city places where people can be facilate with different facilities so pople will be exist in the certain area where they can get different facility from the city. In instant, if we area spread in the city area side then we need the medium to reach there but if we live in the city of big building then it can reduce the transportation cost.So it makes pople convinent and limit in small space area where we can get various facility in the specific place.

In conclusion,by constructin the taller apartment blocks in teh city area it provise the enought houses to the people who was to live in the city area get enought space to which we needed to have on the home so i think it is the convinent idea to do so.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that tall apartment blocks are a good way to provide homes in large cities. Both body paragraphs give relevant reasons, including using less land to protect natural areas and keeping residents close to city facilities. These points address the question, and the examples about transport costs and fertile land help explain your view. However, the second reason is not always clear: the discussion shifts between people living in a concentrated area, access to facilities, and transport without fully explaining how this makes tall blocks the best solution. The conclusion repeats your position but does not weigh the benefits or acknowledge any limitation. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a more specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through your argument, and the main ideas are generally grouped into relevant paragraphs. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “In instant” does not clearly introduce the example, while “Therefore” and “So” sometimes connect ideas without showing the precise relationship between them. The second body paragraph moves from facilities to where people live and then to transport costs, so its progression is difficult to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and make each supporting sentence explain the point immediately before it. Check that pronouns such as “there” have an unmistakable reference.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “natural resources,” “fertile land,” “transportation cost,” and “facilities.” These choices show an effort to discuss environmental and urban-planning issues rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, inaccurate word choice, spelling, and word forms are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “resident area,” “perspection,” “heigh apartment,” “facilate,” and “convinent.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “people will be exist in the certain area” and “limit people in small space area.” Build a reliable set of collocations for housing and city planning, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “residential space” and “high-rise apartment buildings.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a conditional structure beginning “if we use build.” This shows some range, but control is uneven: several sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, or sentence construction. For instance, “I am agree” needs a different verb pattern, and “it play a crucial role” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening sentence and the long sentence beginning “Firstly” are difficult to follow because their clauses are not formed or punctuated clearly. There are also missing or misplaced commas after introductory phrases. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add a correctly formed reason or example clause. Proofread agreement, articles, and punctuation.
