Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
You state a relevant position—“i agree with this statement”—and mention that apartment blocks can provide homes in large cities. However, the response only begins to explain this view: “give many advantage” and “do many things” are not developed into clear reasons or supported with examples. The task asks you to explain the extent of your agreement, but there is no discussion of how tall buildings meet housing needs or of possible limitations. The response also does not meet the required minimum length, so several parts of the task remain unaddressed. To improve, give a clear thesis, develop two specific reasons, and support each with an example or explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response into an opening paragraph and a second paragraph, and the opening signals your position before the body begins. However, the ideas do not progress clearly: the second paragraph moves from the importance of homes to money, products, and living styles without explaining how these points connect to tall apartment blocks. The phrase “i describe in upcoming paragraph” also announces a plan that is not fulfilled. Use a clear sequence, such as one paragraph on housing capacity and another on efficient land use, and connect each claim with an explanation. This would create a more coherent overall progression rather than a list of loosely related points.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “large cities,” “tall apartment blocks,” and “comfortable living styles,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several choices are unclear or unsuitable in context, such as “sores of money,” “do many things,” and “new product.” These expressions make your intended benefits difficult to understand. There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “every one life” and “advantage.” Aim for precise housing-related vocabulary and check collocations: for example, explain whether apartment blocks reduce construction costs or make better use of limited urban land. More accurate wording will help communicate your ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both a longer opening sentence and a simpler statement of your view, showing some effort to form connected ideas. However, sentence boundaries and basic structures are not controlled consistently. The opening joins several clauses without appropriate punctuation, while “homes play important role in every one life” is missing an article and has an unclear possessive structure. In “large apartment give many advantage,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the plural form is needed. Capitalisation of “I” is also inconsistent. Practise writing complete sentences with one main idea, then add a reason using a controlled clause such as “because…”; check articles, agreement, and punctuation before submitting.
