Student answer (Band 5.0)

The importance of houses in big cities, which was always debatable issue, has now more controversial. few people who say that it is the better way to provide the enough homes in big cities is to build tall apartment blocks. While other reject this notion because they believe that it is not best way. As far as,I concern I partially agress with this steatment. This essay will discuss the both prespective of said issue before reaching the conclusion.

To commence with the first notion, there are myriad things to be shared in the favoure of people who say that providing houses in big cities is better decision. The first and the foremost reason is that it is helpfull for economy growth. To illustrate, when government focuses on devolpment of the nation they will build the big apartment in the cities. Furthermore, due to this people prefer to live in the cities because all the facilities are easily avlable in big cities which make peoples lives more easy and comforetable. One another reason is that all facilities are easily avalable in that ares. In the large cities, people do not face much problems regarding needy things because that is more convinent for folk to buy the things very easily because all shopes are near by the big cities which provide all kinds of things for people.

On the paradoxcial side, there are several reason to support the other people who believe that it is not better way. One of the primary reason is that it is very costly. To demonstrate, poore people do not affored the big apartments in large cities due to money issuesbecause they earn hand to mouth. Moreover, nowadays all things are very costly and people live very stress full life which make their so hard. One another reason is that

To sum up, according to the arguement mentioned above as well as my point of view. both are paramount because tall apartment are represent the high status in the society. However, it creates some problems for poore people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You introduce the topic and state a partial position: “I partially agree,” and you attempt to consider arguments on both sides. However, the response only partially answers the question because the supporting points are not consistently about whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide enough homes. For example, access to shops and facilities is discussed, but the link to increasing housing supply is not explained. The opposing paragraph begins with affordability, but ends unfinished at “One another reason is that,” and the conclusion does not clarify which approach you consider best. Develop a few directly relevant reasons, explain each with a specific example, and make your final position consistent with your introduction.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for supporting and opposing views, and a conclusion, so there is an attempt to organise the discussion. Linking phrases such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore,” and “To sum up” also signal stages in the essay. However, progression is limited: several points repeat the idea that facilities are available in cities, and the second body paragraph stops mid-argument. Some connections are unclear, particularly the shift from apartment construction to nearby shops. The conclusion does not clearly resolve the discussion. Give each paragraph one main purpose, arrange its supporting points in a logical order, and use references and transitions to show how each point relates to the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related and formal vocabulary, including “economy growth,” “facilities,” “paramount,” and “controversial.” This shows an effort to move beyond very basic wording. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “things,” “people,” and “big cities,” while frequent spelling and word-choice errors make some phrases difficult to interpret, for example “poore people,” “money issuesbecause,” and “the both prespective.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “represent the high status” and “earn hand to mouth.” Use more precise housing vocabulary, check spelling carefully, and learn common collocations as complete phrases rather than relying on formal-sounding words that do not fit the context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast structure beginning “While other reject this notion” and a reason clause with “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, and punctuation frequently interrupt the message. For example, “As far as,I concern” is not formed correctly, and “it is helpfull for economy growth” has problems with the verb pattern and article use. The opening also begins with a fragment-like “While” clause, while the final body paragraph ends without a complete sentence. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then combine them with one clear subordinate clause; proofread punctuation and sentence completion.
