Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this paragraph i am illustrate that building aprtments to make homes for people
yes i think is more important in these days that more apartments should be made by the govt to secure our agriculture feilds as we know that the agriculture are danerousy decreasing in number of job in years by years
Building large apartments is very useful because that every people are living in cities mostly are migrated from the villages for their job so they cant manage a proper house to live in so apartment helps alot to a single family man to live in the apartment and contribute in his job and pakistan economy
also building tall aprtment contributes in job market it produce alot of job in the construction work which is also helps alot govt to overcome on the job shartage and poverty these are also a long project which can be taken 3 year it will give a permanant job to a person who can make him happy and manage his living expense
second one is large building has different apartments that helps alot to live more family as compare to the house which is particuler made for the family as compare to the apartment it gives the privacy and a life settle and in less place more families can live life
as my final thought is that large buildings are very helping project for the single famileis and alot of otensial to live thier lives freely and more facinating that is why i think that large buildngs help alot.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a position in favour of tall apartment blocks, and several points are relevant to the question: they can house more families in limited space, accommodate people moving to cities for work, and create construction jobs. However, the response only partially develops the argument. The opening is unclear, and the claim about protecting agricultural fields is not explained or supported. The discussion of employment also shifts from housing provision to poverty and job security without showing how these points establish that tall blocks are the best way to provide homes. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason with a clear link to the question and add a specific example or comparison with alternatives such as building outward or renovating existing housing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the response moves from a brief introduction to reasons about city migration, construction employment, and the number of families apartments can accommodate, before ending with a concluding view. Basic connectors such as “also,” “second one,” and “as my final thought” help signal this sequence. However, progression is not consistently clear, and several ideas run together in long, loosely connected sentences. The opening does not establish the argument clearly, while the final paragraph repeats the general claim rather than drawing the reasons together. Paragraphing is present, but the links between claims and explanations are often weak. Give each paragraph one central point, use clearer topic sentences, and connect supporting details explicitly to that point.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with frequent reliance on general words such as “helps,” “alot,” “large,” and “people.” Some task-related terms, including “apartments,” “construction work,” “job market,” and “privacy,” show an attempt to discuss housing and its effects. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow, as in “agriculture feilds,” “danerousy decreasing,” and “otensial.” Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “a single family man” and “manage a proper house.” Build a more precise set of housing-related expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, use “urban housing demand” and “accommodate more households” rather than repeatedly relying on “helps” and “live.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “Building large apartments is very useful because…” and the sentence beginning “also building tall aprtment contributes…”. However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine several ideas often produce faulty sentence structures that make relationships unclear. Errors include “i am illustrate,” “every people are living,” and “it produce alot of job”; subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries need more control. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, which makes the long sentences harder to read. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them using accurate clauses such as “because” or “which.” Proofread each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
