Student answer (Band 6.0)
The excellent way to provide enough homes in large citities is to build tall apartment blocks. I completely agree with the statement due to the fact that large cities has saturation of population and less residential plots to build seperate homes for everyone.
In today's challanging world, everyone is moving from small towns to big cities to grow professionally and financially. Urban areas offer multiple facilities in terms of better education, advance healthcare facilities and job opportunities in comparison with rural areas. The adverse effect of this phenomena is a large proportion of individuals migrate to large cities which provide a challange of accomodation. One solution is to build tall apartment blocks with 8 to 10 floors and every floor contains atleast 10 to 15 apartments. In this way we can mitigate the problem of living for a huge number of people.
Another reason of constructing tower residences is unavailability of residential land in cities. Almost every city is already occupied with hospitals, colleges, universities, parks, resturants and many more leaving not enough space to construct sperate houses for large migrants. By scrutinizing the situation carefully, i believe that it audacious plan with paramount importance.
In conclusion, the most significant method to create housing facility in metropolises is to establish erect towers with multiple apartment blocks. Problem of emerging growth of population can be tackled in this way and provide goos standards of living for everyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes. You give two relevant reasons—population growth in cities and limited land—and explain how multi-storey buildings could house many people. However, the support remains general: the example of 8 to 10 floors and 10 to 15 apartments is not connected to a specific city or evidence, and the land-use paragraph mainly lists facilities rather than showing why other housing approaches are less effective. The conclusion restates your view but adds little development. The response is also below the required minimum length, so there is limited space to develop the argument. Extend the reasons with a concrete example and consider a qualification or comparison with alternatives.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from urban migration to land scarcity is logical, and phrases such as “Another reason” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. Some connections are less smooth, however. The sentence beginning “The adverse effect of this phenomena” has an unclear reference, and “By scrutinizing the situation carefully” does not clearly connect the preceding list to the claim that follows. The conclusion also repeats the central idea rather than drawing the two reasons together. Use more precise referencing and make the relationship between each example and its main point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “residential plots,” “migrate,” “accommodation,” “unavailability of residential land,” and “metropolises.” There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “mitigate the problem” and “paramount importance,” though some are not used naturally or precisely. Several spelling errors—“citities,” “challanging,” “seperate,” “resturants,” and “goos”—reduce accuracy, while phrases such as “problem of living” and “create housing facility” are awkward collocations. Aim for natural, precise combinations rather than adding formal-sounding words where they do not fit. Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your vocabulary more effective and fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “due to the fact that” and a longer sentence explaining migration and its effects. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur. For example, “large cities has saturation” has a subject–verb agreement problem and an unnatural noun construction; “every floor contains” shifts into the present tense within a hypothetical proposal; and “i believe that it audacious plan” is missing a verb and article. The sentence beginning “One solution is to build…” also joins two ideas in a way that would be clearer with a full clause after the first sentence. Work on agreement, articles, consistent verb forms, and complete sentence structures while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
