Student answer (Band 5.5)

Tall housing state establishment are ensuring the enough availability of the houses in big cities. I totally agree with this understanding for some reasons, such as it needs less space to build the high-rise in an apartment, provides more houseings for individual families, and also budget friendly.

The high-rise buildings can be developed within short time in a proper management rather than doing different short multi-storey buildings in different places. Although when it has started the building infrastructural work,no need to move other places, it can be done in a particular area with full of efficiency. While the small building are created, then it to move many places for conducting the work.

The high multistorey buildings provide in a one building accommodation facility of a large number of families. It helps to build up a society in an one building blocks, also a lot of others facilities, for instance a large prking are,in the rooftop swimming pool and so on. These of overall advantage under an one buildings, in addition for it is also cost friendly for the building on the one basement.

Tall apartment blocks provide us a lot of facilities which i feel when I was lived in a society named Mirpur DOSH, Bnagladesh, that was made by military association, it covers a lot of benefits like high safety, fulltime electricity supply. It was an amazing suvineur in my life.

In conclude, the tall building ensure that enough accommodation of housing can be possible in the large cities. In this way, the homes problems in a particular area maybe settle down in an well stratigic management.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the start: “I totally agree,” and the response stays focused on whether tall apartment blocks can provide homes in large cities. You give relevant reasons, including using less land, accommodating many families, and offering shared facilities, then add a personal example from Mirpur DOSH in Bangladesh. These points address the task, but they are not all developed equally. The claim that high-rise construction is quicker and more efficient is difficult to follow, and the personal example mainly lists benefits rather than showing how the development helped meet housing demand. Explain each reason with a clearer cause-and-effect link or a specific example to make the argument more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and personal experience, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main position. You also use linking expressions such as “Although,” “for instance,” and “In addition.” However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Although when it has started…” does not form a clear relationship with the following idea, and “While the small building are created” leaves the comparison unfinished. The paragraph about shared facilities also combines several points without a clear progression. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s main point, and make comparisons and references explicit so the reader can follow how each idea supports your argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to housing and urban development, including “high-rise buildings,” “accommodation,” “infrastructural work,” and “facilities.” This gives you some range beyond basic everyday language. However, noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to interpret. Phrases such as “Tall housing state establishment,” “enough availability of the houses,” and “an amazing suvineur” are not natural or clear in this context. There are also spelling errors such as “prking” and “stratigic.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more complicated wording: for example, use “housing developments,” “sufficient housing,” and “a memorable experience.” Proofreading would also help you catch spelling slips.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Although” and one using “While,” as well as a relative clause in “a society named Mirpur DOSH.” This shows an effort to vary your structures. However, some sentences are difficult to follow because of errors in clause construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “Although when it has started the building infrastructural work,no need to move other places” is incomplete, while “when I was lived” uses an incorrect verb form. Agreement and article errors also appear in “the small building are created” and “in an one building blocks.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense and singular/plural agreement when editing.
