Student answer (Band 6.0)

Increasing population rise a big threat to the environment and economy of the country. From which the populace goes not have any land for made their houes. From this situation the best method is to construct big apartments. I agree this statement to a large extent. However i will discuss both the views in the upcoming paragraphs.

On the one hand, the upsurged population will became a bigger threat to the country. Primarily if one family construct a house and live inside that it get a enough space whereas a apartment have a ducks of floor which provide proper home facilities In addition to it will provide two benefits firstly lesser space occupaction and secondly the expenses as it will only the half prices as rather to construct a house. Besides that apartments provide many facilities like swimming pools, gyms, parks and lot of kore amenities. However which is not possible in a house.

Correlating the above perpesective, the increasing of tall buildings will also made help in the economy structure.predominately the land which is free is now use for agricultural purposes that helps the soil and produces more. Besides that the apartments provide proper service in in your block whether the cause of problem is very small the management take responsibility of it.Lastly hy living in apartments it gaves not any stree and feel calmness.

On the other hand, the houses are considered to the best palce for everyone and own a house is even a dream. In the apartments there were consequential restrictions everyone should follw the rules properly.Whereas a house gave you a ownership right you feel free and calm and there is not any restrictions.

To recapitulate, the apartment benefits were more than the houses which gave a significant reason to live in the block except in the houses.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the benefits of tall apartment blocks and acknowledging the counter-argument regarding individual houses. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention economic and environmental benefits, the points are often under-developed or unclear, such as the vague reference to 'ducks of floor' or the claim that living in apartments 'gaves not any stree'. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth and specific examples. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-explained idea supported by logical reasoning rather than listing multiple points briefly.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While you use some cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'To recapitulate', they are sometimes used incorrectly or mechanically. Referencing is occasionally confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow your train of thought. For example, the transition 'Correlating the above perpesective' is unnatural. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows logically from the previous one will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary range is limited and often inaccurate. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'upsurged population', 'ducks of floor', and 'gaves not any stree'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding of your intended meaning. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the lack of precision prevents you from expressing your ideas effectively. To reach a higher band, focus on learning common collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than relying on basic or incorrectly translated terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('population rise a big threat'), verb tense ('will became'), and sentence structure. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often faulty, which can cause difficulty for the reader. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like article usage and verb forms. Reducing the number of errors is essential for clarity and higher scoring.
