Student answer (Band 6.5)
According to current situation, demand of residence is being increased because of surging in populace. It is believe that to overcome this problem we need to build tall apartment blocks so their would be enough homes in large cities. Apropos to given statement, I agree as much as I disagree.
To embark with, the notion of agree side. To built tall vertical apartment instead of building 100 houses in good and practical solution because this large population can live in small area. By adapting this trend government and organisation would not need to be expand city to rural area. Owning a piece of land and then building house do cost huge amount so it cannot be affordable by everyone. Hence, building apartment for means of living is smarter option for middle as well as lower class family. It will also increase charm of urban cities.
On the other hand, this trend also has several disadvantages. So this paragraphs contains some points of disagreement. Tall buildings can be dangerous during the time of natural disaster like- earthquake. Even in the case of fire, one who lives on top floors they would face difficulty and have lesser chance for rescue. For instance, last year their was a case of fire in a tall apartment of Surat,India. Many people lost their life because firefighter was not able to save them as they were living on the top floor.
On the concluding note, I contend that building tall flat and apartment is good and smarter way to provide home to the people but for adapting such trend government should ameliorate their safety majors so if their would be any problem then they can save people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of tall apartment blocks. You clearly state your position in the introduction, although the phrasing 'I agree as much as I disagree' is slightly informal. The ideas are relevant, such as land efficiency and safety concerns, but they are somewhat under-developed. For instance, the point about 'charm of urban cities' is mentioned but not explained. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is supported with more detailed reasoning or specific examples. The conclusion provides a balanced summary and a suggestion for improvement, which is a good practice.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'To embark with', 'On the other hand', and 'On the concluding note' to signal transitions. However, some of these are non-standard or slightly awkward in an academic context. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'this paragraphs contains some points of disagreement', which refers to the paragraph itself rather than the ideas. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'residence', 'populace', 'ameliorate', and 'natural disaster'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'surging in populace' (should be 'a surge in population'), 'To embark with' (should be 'To begin with'), and 'safety majors' (should be 'safety measures'). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the precision of your expression. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise academic collocations will improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with articles ('the demand of residence'), verb forms ('To built' instead of 'To build'), and subject-verb agreement ('firefighter was not able' instead of 'firefighters were not able'). There are also persistent errors with pluralization and prepositions. While the meaning is generally clear, these errors occur frequently enough to impact the overall fluency. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors will be beneficial.
