Student answer (Band 6.5)
The most appropriate means to provide sufficient accommodation in large urban areas is by building sky scrappers. I strongly agree to this opinion because in some countries which have small landmass, building sky scrappers is the surest way they economized their available habitable areas, creating space recreational parks and for farmlands.
Building tall is the most significant means to provide living space for individuals in big cities, beause majority of the urban areas around the world are mostly densely populated with building scattered every corners given no room for green and land for agricultural. For example, in country such as England with small livable landmass and majority of wetlands, their government was able to solve such problem by enacting a policy to build only tall apartment block in major urban areas.
In addition. construction of only tall building does not provide living space in large cities but also it create room the government to bring green areas such green trees park which serves a place for leisure and recreation as well as leave enough lands for the purpose of agriculture. For Instance, Singapore, maximized their various islands by allocating majority them for farming and a few allocated for estates which encomprises only tall houses.
In conclusion, the best way to provide enough accommodate in large urbans is by building skycrappers such like that done is England, likewise Singapore which allocated majority of its lands in its islands for farming and agricultural purposes and very few for living area, where sky scrappers are only built there.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have clearly stated your position in the introduction and maintained it throughout the essay. You provided relevant examples, such as England and Singapore, to support your argument. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat repetitive, and the explanation of how tall buildings specifically facilitate green spaces could be more nuanced. While you address the prompt, the supporting arguments lack depth and rely on generalizations. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-developed point rather than restating the same concept in different ways.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'In addition' and 'For instance,' to link your ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the sentence fragment 'In addition. construction of...' and the awkward phrasing 'such like that done is England.' The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by grammatical errors and awkward transitions. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help your writing feel more natural and cohesive.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is limited and contains several errors in word choice and spelling. For example, you use 'sky scrappers' (skyscrapers) and 'accommodate' (accommodation) incorrectly. You also repeat basic terms like 'big cities' and 'living space' frequently. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the lack of precision and the recurring spelling mistakes limit your score. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to urban planning and ensure you are using the correct word forms (e.g., nouns vs. verbs).
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('it create room'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage. Some sentences are poorly constructed, such as 'majority of the urban areas around the world are mostly densely populated with building scattered every corners.' These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
