Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often argued that provide sufficient houses in big urban aeras rather than build tail buildings blocks. It is widely believe that there is an anging debate about whether, I completely disagree with this statement that enough homes in large city.

Nowadays, This issue crucial, I believe that in urban aeras homes are not build enough because they construct are very costly and for example first people have to buy large land than assemble houses this west of money and time, In this time tall apartment required small land and make homes in budget that public also have affordable.

Second think is in large city people lave to live their because the government proved more fayalites there fore i believe that citizens have more security in apartment and they leave homes without any worry, Apartment also gives more fayalites just public have to pay monthly bills of maintenance citizens lives are more easier than privet homes. And in large cities have good road and wealther that people enjoy with family savely in thier flats and in this era flats built have public required like a family have 3 parsons than they proved 3 or 2 bedroom, and family have 5 to 10 parsons than the proved 5 to 10 rooms as you need they

In my opinion i agree with this view that people have to lives in apartment rather than homes i give many reasons and examples,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you clearly state your position in the introduction, the arguments provided are underdeveloped and often unclear. For instance, the explanation regarding land costs and the comparison of family sizes to room numbers lacks logical depth and specific examples. The response addresses the topic, but the lack of sufficient length and the fragmented nature of the arguments prevent a full development of the task. To improve, ensure you expand on your points with clear, logical reasoning and reach the required word count.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear logical progression. While you use some transition words like 'Nowadays' and 'Second think', they are often used incorrectly or do not effectively link ideas. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. Referencing is also problematic; for example, the phrase 'Second think is' is non-standard and confusing. To improve, focus on using cohesive devices more accurately and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting details that flow logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and frequently inaccurate, which often impedes communication. There are numerous spelling errors (e.g., 'aeras', 'tail', 'fayalites', 'wealther', 'parsons') and word choice issues (e.g., 'west of money' instead of 'waste of money', 'privet homes' instead of 'private homes'). You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to express complex ideas precisely. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic words and practice using collocations correctly. Expanding your range of vocabulary related to urban planning and housing would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that make the text difficult to read. There are issues with sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and article usage throughout the response (e.g., 'It is widely believe that there is an anging debate', 'people lave to live their'). Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, and the lack of control over basic grammar significantly affects clarity. To improve, focus on mastering simple sentence structures before attempting complex ones. Pay close attention to verb forms, pluralization, and basic punctuation to ensure your writing is grammatically sound.
