Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that allocate residence apartments in large cities is one of the evitable work. while, there are valid arguments on both side of the issue , I largely agree with the statement because apartments having all the facilities itself and another reason is security purpose of living their.
One of the main reason why I support the view is the facilities we have taken in apartments without going outside. This is because our family not taken burden in case of emergence and get access whatever they needed by any time. For Example, As monsoon running, due to heavy rainfall, storms and heavy winds sometime electricity got fudged and family got panic but the services running 24 hours in apartments so our family feels safe.
Another significant factor is that the security and safety is one of the upmost concern. In other words, robbery, kidnapping, theft these kind of activities are very common these days, due to heavy security on the front gate no outsider coming without showing their identification so, this quite a good example of safe and secure individual. As a result environment around your surrounding is too good.
In conclusion, although tall apartments blocks have some demerits as well, I believe that togetherness of people at a good place is much stronger because proper maintenance, safety, security and a healthy habits promotes a good lifestyle.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of tall apartment blocks. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. The arguments regarding 'facilities' and 'security' are mentioned but lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The essay is also under the 250-word minimum, which significantly impacts the ability to fully develop the response. The ideas are relevant, but the lack of length and depth prevents a higher score. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed reasoning and ensure you meet the word count requirement to allow for a more comprehensive discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'As monsoon running' or 'In other words' used to introduce a list rather than a clarification. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the logical progression is hindered by the limited development of points. While there is an attempt at an introduction and conclusion, the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. There are several instances of awkward word choices and incorrect collocations, such as 'allocate residence apartments', 'evitable work', and 'electricity got fudged'. These errors occasionally make the meaning unclear. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'security' and 'maintenance', the range is limited. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning more precise collocations and academic vocabulary. Avoid using informal or non-standard phrases and try to vary your word choice to express ideas more accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'our family not taken burden'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain errors in complex structures, such as 'the security and safety is one of the upmost concern'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents a higher score. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, verb tenses, and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
