Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this present generation as the technology is growing corporate offices were increased due to their benefits, to overcome this situation the better way to produce maximum houses in big cities is to build large apartment blocks.
I partially agree with this statement, as this method hold its' own significant. If this exist then it would bring greater advantage.
Initially, we all know that corporate companies are enlarging their offices as they are getting more benefits of work. And they are buying public properties to build their office, in that case the society will lose their own properties and they will leave their own place. Furthermore, to overcome this situation, the individuals should build large apartments in their place to keep it safe, while doing this step they can live happily in their own city or state, also the rate of place will increased in future. For instance, constructing individual house, apartments, schools and marts will gain income while giving for rent purpose.
On the other hand, if corporate hire public properties then society should build their houses in the city out cuts. This impact in individuals loos their city centre place and sale value, they live far away from main city, friends, family members and job place. In contrast, everyone should construct their own tall apartment blocks to maintain city with public individuals as a family society.
In summary, as the technology is increasing the corporate need place to build their offices. As a result, the best method is to build tall apartment blocks to provide enough homes in large cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but struggles with clarity and logical development. While you state you 'partially agree', the arguments provided are somewhat confusing. You focus heavily on corporate expansion and property rights rather than the specific benefits or drawbacks of high-rise living, such as urban density, infrastructure, or social impact. The ideas are present but remain under-developed, and the connection between corporate office expansion and the necessity of tall apartment blocks is not clearly explained. To improve, ensure your main ideas directly answer the 'to what extent' aspect of the prompt with clear, logical reasoning rather than focusing on tangential issues like property sales.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Initially', 'Furthermore', and 'In summary', they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly. For example, the transition between the impact of corporate offices and the solution of building apartments is abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'if this exist', where the antecedent is ambiguous. Improving the logical flow between sentences and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'big', 'place', and 'good', which restricts your ability to express complex ideas precisely. There are also several instances of awkward word choices and collocations, such as 'rate of place will increased' (likely meaning property value) and 'city out cuts' (likely meaning outskirts). To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise academic vocabulary and collocations related to urban planning and housing, while ensuring that your word choices are accurate in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'corporate offices were increased', 'rate of place will increased'), tense usage, and pluralisation. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when you attempt more complex forms. For instance, 'if this exist then it would bring' contains a conditional error. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tenses, before attempting more complex structures. Proofreading for these common errors is essential.
