Nowadays people are shifting from one place to another in search of opportunties and better lifestyle. In order to achieve those needs people are shifting to large city areas where all facilities is available. A large number of people accomodating to urban area require more house which eventually need more space and land. In some places due to huge migration and building house , there is not sufficient land to build more houses. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits the development of ideas. While the essay introduces the topic of tall apartment blocks, it fails to provide a clear, sustained position or sufficient supporting arguments. The ideas presented are fragmented and lack the depth required for an academic task. Because the response is incomplete and stops abruptly, it does not address the prompt fully, resulting in a low score for task achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction, body, or conclusion, and the text ends mid-sentence. While there is a basic attempt to use linking words like 'Nowadays' and 'Moreover', the progression of ideas is disjointed. Paragraphing is not used effectively, and the overall flow is interrupted by the incomplete nature of the writing. The lack of a logical conclusion or coherent development makes it difficult to follow the writer's argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. There are several spelling errors, such as 'opportunties', 'accomodating', 'spcae', and 'appartment'. The range of vocabulary is limited, and the writer struggles to use precise terminology related to urban planning or housing. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequent errors and lack of sophisticated lexical items prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('it provide', 'all facilities is available'), incorrect sentence fragments ('Since it provide space...'), and awkward phrasing ('building houses in a large land'). The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent. These persistent errors and the lack of complex sentence structures indicate a limited command of English grammar.
