IELTS Writing Task 2 question

The best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Population increasing rate showed significant growth. Government build tall apartments for facilitates the humans. Some argue that this is the best way for accommodation and some are in favour of small apartments. Although It is not just only solution , I strongly agree build tall building is effective way to utilise land and people can get all the facilities on one place.

Government and local authorities have assigned budget for home schemes. If they used land for build small blocks definitely others factors effects like agricultural land may be used for housing .High-rise building is effective way to use small land and accommodates many. For instance , one tall building can provide home for hundreds and thousands of residents. Consequently, they can have home without spent high cost on land property.

Secondly, when hundredth of residents living together. They can developed strong relationship with each others. Government can facilitates with academic institution, healthcare centres , water supplies and entertainment
