Student answer (Band 4.0)
In the essay that which i discussed about the homes that which the best way to provide the enough home in the large cities that which the people build the apartment blocks because the lake of space and build the home on the top of the building and make a tall apartment in the cities.
In my opinion i agree because the lack of the space the people make the apartment on this place make apartment and lived on this place the families sattle on this place because in the large cities the place is very expansive most of the person cannot afford to take the new place in the city and the family try to settle on this place. But most of the people difficult to compromise on the small place but when he thought do not afford to take the new place and one important thing that in the apartment every member of the family live together.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 159 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly, the arguments are repetitive and lack the necessary depth, supporting evidence, or examples required for an academic essay. The ideas are presented in a very basic manner, and the lack of length prevents a full exploration of the topic. To improve, you must expand your arguments with specific examples and ensure you meet the minimum word count to allow for a thorough discussion of the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction or conclusion, and the paragraphing is ineffective. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and often repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'that which' and 'on this place'. The progression of ideas is difficult to follow because the sentences are often disconnected or run-on. To improve, you should focus on using a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'however') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting details.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is very basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. Phrases like 'make the apartment' and 'take the new place' are imprecise and do not reflect the level of vocabulary expected in an academic task. There are also issues with word choice, such as 'lake of space' instead of 'lack of space' and 'sattle' instead of 'settle'. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to urban planning and housing, and practice using synonyms to avoid repeating the same words throughout your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with sentence structure, such as the use of 'In the essay that which i discussed about...', which is ungrammatical. Subject-verb agreement, verb tense, and word order are consistently problematic throughout the text. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple, error-prone sentences. To improve, you must focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Practicing simple, error-free sentences before attempting complex structures is recommended.
