Student answer (Band 6.0)
Home has been regarded as the basic need of human in society. With considerable social , technological development and population growth, it is necessary to build the organized and well developed socities and homes for the public. However, different perspective exist on this discussion, I firmly believe that a balanced and sustainable approach is essential to maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages of this statement.
On the one hand, supporters of building the tall apartment blocks argue that maximum population will get houses. As the area in the best towns and cities is already occupied and is furnished with all basic facilities, this area can be convereted to the tall apartment blocks, so we do not have to establish new facilities in remote locations where new towns have constructed to accomodate the public. These apartment blocks have almost less rent and cost than the ground bulidings. Consequently, these apartment buildings are beneficial for workers and the poor.
On the other hand, opponents of this statement advocate that these large apartments cause more crowed and hustle in the cities. These also increase the pollution in term of noise, air and water. Moreover, these apartments also cause many public burden in sense of social pressure such as quarrels. For example, our neighbours are very rude because we are living in very busy place. Therefore, cities become more stressed and overburdened. So, we should keep balance during maping of these type of buildings.
In conclusion, the advantages out weigh the disadvantages. Although both viewpoints have considerable merits, I stongly agree with the opinion of building of tall apartment blocks as they provide more benefits than harms.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding urban density and infrastructure are relevant, though the development is somewhat superficial. For instance, the point about 'public burden' and 'quarrels' is a bit anecdotal and lacks depth. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the economic or environmental implications of high-rise living with more sophisticated reasoning. While the conclusion clearly states your stance, the body paragraphs could benefit from more specific examples or data-driven arguments to fully support the 'extent' of your agreement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Consequently' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel repetitive. The referencing is generally clear, but the connection between the idea of 'rude neighbours' and the broader argument about city stress is somewhat tenuous. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'sustainable approach', 'accommodate', and 'overburdened'. However, there are several instances of awkward phrasing and minor errors, such as 'convereted to the tall apartment blocks' (should be 'converted into') and 'in term of' (should be 'in terms of'). Additionally, 'crowed' is used incorrectly as a noun instead of 'crowding'. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, you need to work on collocations and word forms to achieve a more natural and precise academic tone.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the tall apartment blocks', 'the ground bulidings') and pluralization ('different perspective exist'). Some sentences are slightly clunky, such as 'these apartments also cause many public burden in sense of social pressure'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles will significantly improve your accuracy.
