Population congestion is one of the most serious issue in modern society. By developing tall apartment blocks in large city are the best way to provide enough homes. I totally agree with this statement because it provides home to many families.
To begin with, government should be constructed high story buildings. This is because it accommodate large number of families. It maximises use land. skyscraper building can help to reduce both traffic congestion and pollution. If people live in one area which can help to less using of vehicles, resulting decrease traffic congestion. For instance, government has invested large amount of money for building tall building which is more efficient for public properties. Additionally, China has spend large amount of money on build tall apartment because it helps to retain population. As a results, it is convenient for municipality to improve public properties.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as land efficiency and the reduction of traffic, but they are often under-developed. For example, the argument about 'multi-specialist hospitals under one roof' is a bit vague and lacks a logical connection to the necessity of tall buildings. While the response covers all parts of the task, the supporting examples, such as the mention of cities like Surat and Mumbai, are brief and lack sufficient detail to fully support the argument. The essay would benefit from more depth in explaining how these buildings specifically solve the housing crisis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', which help the flow. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'As a results' and 'resulting tall buildings are more efficient'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the internal structure of sentences sometimes hinders the smooth flow of information. Despite these minor issues, the paragraphing is appropriate and the overall arrangement is coherent.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices and collocations, such as 'government should be constructed', 'scarce of lands', and 'it can create densely'. These errors occasionally make the text sound unnatural. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'municipality' and 'congestion', the overall lexical control is limited, and there is some repetition of basic phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the writing. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('government should be constructed', 'China has spend'), incorrect verb forms ('resulting decrease traffic', 'for give space families'), and missing articles. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and detract from the overall quality of the writing. More attention to basic sentence construction and proofreading is required.
