Student answer (Band 6.0)
IT IS OFTEN ARGUED THAT BULIDING APARTMENTS ARE THE BEST SOLUTION FOR CURRENT ERA. WHILE SOME PEOPLE ARGUED THAT IT HAS LESS SPACE FOR THEM. I AGREE WITH LARGE EXTENT THAT FLATS ARE THE BEST SOLUTION. PRIOR TO MY OIPION I PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT EXAMPLE IN FURTHER.
OUT OF ALL THE ARGUMENTS, THE FORMOST IS THAT POPULATION IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM FOR ALL OVER THE WORLD. MOREOVER, APARTMENTS PROVIDE HOMES TO MORE PEOPLE IN ONE AREA. IN ONE BUILDING HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES CAN LIVE. IN ADDITION, THEY CAN GET ANYTHING IN THEIR OWN COMPLEX. SOME PEOPLE START SMALL BUSINESS IN ONE SMALL ROOM SUCH AS GROCERY SHOP, PAINTING OR ART CREATION, DANCE CLASS, TUTITION CLASSES. MOREOVER, PEOPLE WHO LIVES IN FLATS THEY DO NOT HAVE TO RENOVATE OR MAINTAIN WHOLE BUILDING. FOR THAT, THEY HEIR SPECIAL MEN WHO SOLVE PROBLEMS.
FURTHERMORE, GOVERMENT ALSO CONSTRUCTED BULIDINGS FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE OR LABOURS. SO THEY CAN LIVE THEIR WITH GIVING LESS MONEY. GOVERMENT GIVES SUBSIDIES FOR THAT TOO. ARCHITECTURE MADE A PLAN IN WHICH EVERY THINGS ARE AVAILABE. FOR EXAMPLE, IN INDIA ARCHITECTURES MAKE BUILDING PLAN IN WHICH ALL DAILY ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES ARE AVAILABE SUCH AS GYM, VEGETABLES, SOLAR, PLAYGROUND AND SO ON.
HOWEVER, BUILD THE APARTMENT ALSO HAVE SOME DISADVANTAGES THAT PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN LAND. SOMETIMES PARKING ISSUE AND LIMITED SPACES FOR HOUSE. BUT IT ALL CAN BE RESOLVE. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE HOME.
TO CONCLUED, I WOULD STORNGLY AGREE WITH THE TOPIC THAT TALL BUILDING ARE MORE PREFEABLE FOR EVERYONE. AND PEOPLE CAN GET THEIR OWN HOME AND SPEND LESS MONEY COMPARE TO MAKE OWN HOME ON LAND.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of tall apartment blocks. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention population density and government subsidies, the arguments lack depth and specific analysis. For instance, the point about 'small businesses' in apartments is relevant but not fully connected to the broader urban planning context. The conclusion is clear, but the overall structure of the argument could be more sophisticated to reach a higher band. To improve, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-explained idea supported by a concrete example or logical reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'However' to link sentences. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. Additionally, there are issues with referencing and flow; for example, the phrase 'PRIOR TO MY OIPION I PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT EXAMPLE IN FURTHER' is awkward and does not effectively transition into the body paragraphs. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'big', 'good', and 'things'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'BULIDING', 'OIPION', 'HEIR' (instead of 'hire'), and 'STORNGLY'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the score. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to urban development, such as 'high-density housing', 'infrastructure', or 'urban sprawl', and pay closer attention to spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('people who lives', 'architectures make'), article usage ('the best solution for current era'), and word form errors ('build the apartment' instead of 'building apartments'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, and try to vary your sentence structure by using more complex clauses correctly.
