Some people argue the most efficient method to provide enough homes is to construct tall buildings. I believe, its a good solution to tackle the need of number houses in urban areas by using little land. However, its not the only thing to do.

Constructing tall buildings could be a beneficial way of adjusting large population in tall apartment blocks by using small area of land, it will spare the space for other facilities and conserve the natural resources and green land around the urban area as much as possible. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as it is only 114 words long. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you present a clear position in the introduction, the body paragraphs are severely underdeveloped. The second paragraph introduces a relevant point about land conservation, but the third paragraph is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence. Because the response is less than half the required length, it is impossible to fully address all parts of the task or provide sufficient supporting evidence. To improve, you must expand your arguments with specific examples and ensure you complete your thoughts to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay shows some attempt at logical organization, using transition words like 'However' and 'Otherwise' to connect ideas. However, the progression is interrupted by the incomplete nature of the text. Paragraphing is present, but the final paragraph is cut off, which disrupts the overall flow and structure. Cohesive devices are used in a somewhat mechanical way. To achieve a higher score, you need to ensure that each paragraph contains a fully developed main idea supported by clear, logical sentences that transition smoothly into the next point, rather than leaving ideas unfinished.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is generally functional but limited in range. You use basic terms like 'good solution', 'tall buildings', and 'small area'. There are some inaccuracies, such as 'adjusting large population' (which should be 'accommodating a large population') and 'effect the health' (which should be 'affect the health'). To improve, you should aim to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary, such as 'urban density', 'sustainable development', or 'infrastructure', and focus on correct word collocations to convey your meaning more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains several grammatical errors that hinder clarity. There are frequent punctuation and spelling mistakes, such as 'its' instead of 'it's', 'number houses' instead of 'number of houses', and 'enviroment' (spelling). The sentence structures are mostly simple, and the attempt at a complex sentence in the final paragraph is incomplete. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of apostrophes. Increasing your exposure to complex sentence structures will also help you move beyond simple, repetitive phrasing.
