Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 133 words. Consequently, the development of ideas is severely limited. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the arguments provided are underdeveloped and lack logical depth. The mention of Nepal is tangential and does not effectively support the argument regarding tall apartment blocks in large cities. The response lacks a clear structure, failing to provide a balanced discussion or a coherent conclusion. To improve, you must expand your arguments with specific examples and ensure you meet the minimum length requirement to allow for full task development.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks a clear logical progression. While there is an attempt at paragraphing, the ideas within the paragraphs are disjointed and often confusing. Cohesive devices are used very sparingly and often incorrectly, such as the abrupt transition 'But its have disadvantage'. The relationship between sentences is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. To improve, focus on using linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'however' to connect your ideas logically and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that supports your main argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'dicission' instead of 'decision', 'reant' instead of 'rent', and 'aslo' instead of 'also'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss the topic in an academic manner. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to urban planning and housing, and practice using these words in full, grammatically correct sentences. Expanding your range of synonyms will also help you avoid repeating the same words throughout your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammar is characterized by frequent errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'its generate the employment'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or incomplete, such as 'In the context of providing enough home in large cities and build tall apartment block for people I am agree with this statement.' The lack of control over basic grammatical structures makes the text difficult to read. To improve, focus on mastering simple sentence structures before attempting more complex ones, and pay close attention to verb tenses and pluralization.
