Student answer (Band 5.0)

THE LARGE CITIES MOSTLY PEOPLES LIVE IN APARTMENTS AND BUILD TALL BUILDINGS THE BEST METHOD TO GOVERNMENT GIVES PUBLIC OR INDIVIDUALL APARTMENTS TO LIVE THEIR LIFE APPROPRIATE MANNER, I AM STRONGLY AGREE ABOUT THIS THE HOMES SHOULD BE GIVEN IN LARGE CITIES TO BUILD AND TALL APARTMENTS THERE ARE SOME REASONS AND BENEFITS FOR THE PUBLIC

THE FIRST REASON I AGREED FOR THIS THE GOVERNMENT SHUOLD PROVIDE THE SCHEME APARTMENTS AND AREAS WHERE INDIVIDUALLS BUILD THEIR HOME EASILY FOR EXAMPLE IN ADVANACE AREA THE EVERY PERSON SHOULD BE WELL EDUCATED AND INDEPENDENT IF THE PEOPLE NOT PROVIDE HOME THEY CANT ACHIEVE THEIR FULLFILL THEIR DREAMS .

MOREOVER THE SECOND REASON IS THAT IN ARBAN AREA HAVE SO MANY EMPATY PLACES AND GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN PROVIDED SO MANY APARTMENTS TO THE INDIVIDUALLS FOR THEY LIVE THEIR LIFE NICELY AND SEEK BASIC INTINCTS IN APPROPRIATE MANNER THAT IS PART OF LIVING BECAUSE IN THIS MODERN ERA EVERYBUDDY WANTS OWN ,HOUSES .

IF I AM DISAGREE ABOUT THIS OPNION THERE ARE ALSO SOME BASIC REASON BEHIND THAT MOREOVERALLY THE HOUSE GOVERNMENT NOT PROVIED WHERE HOW PERSON LIVE THEIR OWN LIFE SO DEFINETLY THEY MUST HAVE IF THEY HAS NOT PROVIDED HOME THEY BUILD OWN HOUSES IN EVERY WHERE THE CAPACITY EXPENDED AND SINGLE STORY EVERWHERE THEY IMPACT NEAGTIVELY IN SPECIFIC CITIES SO THE TALL BULDING SHOULD BE EXITS.

AFTER THAT I WOULD SUMMARIZE MY OPNION THE TALL BUILDINGS APARTMENTS SHOULD BE EXITS FOR THE BETTER ECONOMY AND BETTER DEVELOPMENTS THEY COUNTRY LOOKS MORE MODERN WHERE LONG AND TALL BUILDINGS EXITS LIKE DUBAI AND AUSTRAILA ALL FOREIGN COUNTRY AND ASIAN COUNTRY AS WELL.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of tall apartment blocks. However, the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. For instance, the argument regarding 'basic instincts' and 'empty places' is vague and lacks logical connection to the topic of urban housing. The supporting points are repetitive and fail to provide concrete, well-explained examples. While the writer attempts to discuss the negative consequences of not building tall, the reasoning is difficult to follow due to poor expression. To improve, you should focus on developing two distinct, logical arguments with clear supporting evidence rather than listing fragmented thoughts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by confusing phrasing and a lack of logical flow. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'moreover' and 'for example', but they are often applied incorrectly or in a way that does not link ideas effectively. For example, the transition 'If I am disagree about this opinion' is jarring and does not clearly signal a counter-argument. The referencing is often unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the writer's train of thought. Improved use of linking words and clearer sentence structure would significantly enhance the coherence of the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and often inaccurate, which frequently impedes communication. There are numerous errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'advance area' instead of 'developed area' and 'seek basic instincts' which is contextually inappropriate. The repetition of basic words like 'homes', 'apartments', and 'buildings' shows a lack of lexical variety. Spelling errors, such as 'arban', 'everybuddy', and 'exits' (used instead of 'exist'), further detract from the quality of the writing. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary and using it in the correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are almost always marred by grammatical errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the government has been provided'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. Punctuation is also problematic, with many run-on sentences that lack proper clause boundaries. For example, the sentence 'if the people not provide home they cant achieve their fullfill their dreams' contains multiple errors that make the meaning difficult to grasp. A focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be a good starting point for improvement.
