Student answer (Band 5.0)
The better way to illustrate a big apartment of blocks in large build by enough homes. In my opinion this point are definitely good because tall apartment construction in large cities moreover individuals take advantage to live in apartment highly recommended.
I'm agree this statement owing to the fact that people's prefer to live in big cities not only that, but also large cities more advantages to live there. To illustrate Karachi is a big city and in which are more benefits to individuals live there better jobs opportunities as compared to others cities like Hedrabaad mostly people prefer to live in flat because much like solve parking issues and cause of some peoples to leave the own city for good jobs and spend better life, and improve the communication skills.
Some individuals disagree the statement for the reason that large cities to live there need significant financial strong because live in large cities and spend better life more expenses like fuel, education, travelling need huge amount of cash. For instance, Karachi crime rate in increased after day by day as compared to small cities its not safe option to live. So, I'm prefer to live small city cause of big cities pollution rate high and people are ill.
In conclusion, it is better option to live large city in many facilities provides better jobs opportunities to make good future. However, small cities limited facilities, lower education systems, to low standards living there. I'm recommended to live in large cities was constructed tall apartment blocks yet still live amazing opportunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but struggles with clarity and focus. While you express a position, the arguments are often disjointed and do not directly link the 'tall apartment blocks' solution to the problem of housing in large cities. The ideas regarding Karachi and Hyderabad are somewhat tangential, as they focus more on general city living rather than the specific architectural solution proposed in the prompt. To improve, ensure that every paragraph directly supports your stance on whether tall buildings are the best way to provide housing. Currently, the connection between the proposed solution and the benefits of city living is weak, leading to an under-developed response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, which is a positive step, but the internal flow is frequently interrupted by confusing sentence structures and unclear logical progression. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In conclusion' and 'However', but they are often applied incorrectly or in a way that does not logically connect the ideas. For instance, the transition between discussing apartment blocks and general city life is abrupt. Referencing is also problematic, as it is often unclear what 'the statement' or 'this point' refers to. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, which restricts your ability to express complex ideas clearly. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'illustrate a big apartment of blocks' and 'significant financial strong'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding of your intended meaning. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use more precise or academic terms appropriate for an IELTS Task 2 essay. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more varied, topic-specific vocabulary related to urban planning and housing, rather than relying on general descriptors like 'good' or 'better'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('this point are'), sentence fragments, and incorrect word order. There is a very limited range of complex structures, and the attempts at using them are often faulty, which causes difficulty for the reader. Basic errors in articles, prepositions, and verb tenses are pervasive throughout the text. To improve, you should focus on mastering simple sentence structures first to ensure accuracy, and then gradually introduce more complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences, ensuring that you check for basic grammatical consistency in every sentence you write.
