Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people believe that in order to fit in the bigger cities the ministry should provide facilities of tall apartment buildings with number of blocks. Too a major extent, I strongly agree with the given view, my inclination will be elucidate in the following paragraphs.
Firstly, the bigger cities allow people to expand more their lives in terms of career, connections and wealth. The tall building construction could help the people in terms of living exposure. The apartment home provides the better facilities than a ground floor home. Also, many number of people can live together in one society. For example, the apartment home provides the great view from the home and the larger building provides the much facilities like swimming pool, ground, gym and many more. It also provide a big parking area on ground floor and in basement.
Secondly, while living in the same society with different profession people, this allows people to be more socialize and friendly. Nowadays, finding homes for corporate workers are difficult and they all want home location near their offices or work places. The apartment home provides them stability in life and allow them work peacefully, while living in short distance. For instance, from the previous survey of researchers, they indicate that people who go on work with happy face and without mental stress they have less medical problems rather than other people in community.
On the other side, there are several outcomes that can be produce by the buildings. If all the building are taller and much more higher than the required length, they may block the sun waves and some people may affect with that. Also, in the apartments people may face the issue of electricity, water consumption and lift problems. For instance, there is friend of mine who lives on 23rd floor in an apartment, he usually complaints about the lift because of its inconsistency and maintenance, because of that he and several other families live on higher floor faces too much problems.
In conclusion, the ministry should provide the facilities of taller building to the public because it may provide exposure of great career, wealth and connections. It also allows enough number of homes to the people. However, there are some consequences like electricity and water problem with several others but, I believe people should resident where they are comfortable.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have addressed the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of tall apartment blocks. You provided reasons such as space efficiency, social interaction, and lifestyle benefits. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument about 'mental stress' and 'medical problems' is a bit tangential and lacks a strong logical link to the topic of building height. To reach a higher band, ensure that every supporting point directly reinforces the central argument regarding urban housing solutions. The conclusion is clear, but the overall response would benefit from more depth in the analysis of the trade-offs involved.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'On the other side' to signal transitions. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., 'the ministry should provide the facilities of tall apartment buildings with number of blocks'). The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the internal structure of some paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more fluidly rather than relying on simple sentence starters.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have a sufficient vocabulary to communicate your ideas, but the range is somewhat limited and repetitive. Phrases like 'apartment home' and 'provide the facilities' are used frequently. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'sun waves' (instead of 'sunlight') and 'socialize and friendly' (instead of 'socialize and be friendly'). To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary related to urban planning, such as 'high-density housing', 'infrastructure', or 'urban sprawl', and focus on using more natural collocations to express your points more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'Too a major extent' (To a major extent), 'my inclination will be elucidate' (will be elucidated), and 'many number of people' (a large number of people). There are also issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement, such as 'people who go on work... they have less medical problems'. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and preposition usage would be beneficial.
