Student answer (Band 6.0)
Today, accommodation in mega cities has become considerable problem, because of growing population and migration of them in suborb areas of cities. Some believe tall buidings are the best solution to adress this issue. I compeletly agree with this development.
Appartments can provide homes to a large number of the residents in the small piece of the land. Living in the buidings is more convinient and affordable for people who transferred to the urban areas from the countryside areas. For instance, the metro city like Mumbai is the dream place for the majority of youndsters. They prefer to stay there for career advancement. In intial stage of it, they cannot afford a piece of land to built thier houses, so skyscarpers are the only and better option for them. Apart from this, people choose to live in the buildings in the large cities such as Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai etc. for skyline views.
After all, tall apparatments can accomodate significant number of people. Private bonglows or tenaments require space. For developing cities, it is impossible to provide spacious houses to everyone, because industrial expansion leads to land scarce. Additionaly, maintanance of the private houses are extremely higher than the flats. In appartments, people can exeperience variety of sophisticated facilities with cooperation of others, which is challanging to achieve alone. By instroducing high-rise bulidings, governments are able to solve multiple consequences of raw-houses.
To sum up, there are considerable difficulties in the large cities for givernments regarding accomodation of the increasing population. To combart this problem, huge buildings is the most convinient and appropriate way, because it takes little space and financial benefits are also there.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have clearly stated your position in the introduction and maintained it throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant, focusing on space efficiency, affordability, and shared facilities. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention that skyscrapers are the 'only' option for youngsters in Mumbai, this could be supported with more nuanced reasoning regarding urban planning or sustainability. The response addresses all parts of the prompt, but the arguments could benefit from more depth and specific examples to reach a higher band. Overall, the position is clear and the response is well-focused on the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. You use some cohesive devices such as 'For instance', 'Apart from this', and 'To sum up' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel a bit abrupt. The use of referencing is generally clear, though some cohesive links could be more varied to improve the natural progression of ideas. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the structure supports the overall argument effectively.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'career advancement', 'sophisticated facilities', and 'industrial expansion'. However, there are frequent spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'suborb', 'buidings', 'convinient', 'skyscarpers', 'bonglows', 'tenaments', and 'maintanance'. These errors are noticeable and detract from the professional tone of the essay. While you attempt to use less common vocabulary, the high frequency of spelling mistakes limits your score. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to correct these basic orthographic slips.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'Because industrial expansion leads to land scarce' and 'In apartments, people can experience a variety of sophisticated facilities'. There are several grammatical errors, including issues with articles ('the metro city', 'the small piece of the land'), word forms ('land scarce' instead of 'land scarcity'), and subject-verb agreement ('maintanance... are'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall accuracy of the writing. Increasing your control over complex structures and refining your proofreading will help improve your score.
