Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the modern era, the population is growing day by day in cities which is challenging for cities to make new apartment and it is totally different from previous materials and also fully furnished to give modern vibes. In this essay, I argue with this statement because it is the positive development in our country to give modern vibes.

To commence with the first and foremost point is advertisement. To explain it, people also require to make first large building and then do advertisement in both way like online and offline. As a result, it ads view by various people then people think it is famous and valuable place for their rich lifestyle then they also want to choose this places.

Furthermore, if owners do ads in professional way then obviously popularity is increasing in market which creates different respect from others and also need to give some discount which creates curiosity in market to grab instantly it.

In conclusion, making the new tall buildings to give apartments to people is positive change for cities people and also helpful to create hype in every person life.At last, owners also need to give some facilities like cafe, parks , parking , garden for spending quality time with their neighbours to maintain strong relationships.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to address the prompt effectively. The essay focuses on 'advertisement' and 'marketing' strategies for apartment buildings rather than discussing whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide housing in large cities. This is a significant misunderstanding of the task. Furthermore, the response is under the 250-word minimum, which limits the development of any relevant ideas. The position is unclear, and the arguments provided do not support the topic of urban planning or housing solutions. Consequently, the response is largely off-topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is disjointed. While some cohesive devices like 'To commence with' and 'Furthermore' are used, they are applied mechanically and do not help in developing a coherent argument. The ideas within the paragraphs are repetitive and lack a clear link to the main topic, making the overall structure difficult to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often used incorrectly. Phrases like 'give modern vibes' and 'create hype in every person life' are informal and imprecise. There is a lack of academic vocabulary related to urban development or housing. The student relies on basic words and struggles to express complex ideas, often repeating terms like 'advertisement' and 'buildings' without demonstrating a wider range of lexical items.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'it ads view'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or poorly constructed, lacking the complexity required for higher bands. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. The lack of control over basic grammar significantly affects the readability of the text.
