Student answer (Band 5.0)
I strongly agree with this statement that the best way to provide enough homes in the large cities is to build the tall apartment blocks the main reason for following this path is that in the tall apartments more people can live easily like if we build a triple story house and then rented it then more space will be available for fulfilling the living standards however it also help to reduce the expenses which are essential to build a single house so these are the reasons the tall apartment blocks offers more space to the people to fulfill the living standards. While there are some of disadvantages of the tall apartment and i am disagree with this statement in the tall apartment during summer times it is difficult for the people to survive in a tall apartment due to the summer season this is the one of the reason because people stay home all the time and they face the issue of the summer in a tall apartment. There is a major issue that is mostly faced in the tall apartment is that, The tall buildings are overcrowded and the people face the pressure of the noise pollution which may prove harmful for the brain health of the people this is the one of the main reason that tall apartments should be less preferred. In the conclusions to provide enough homes in the big cities building tall apartment have some advantages and the disadvantages also so both statements can be noticed

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but suffers from significant internal contradictions. You begin by stating you 'strongly agree' that tall apartment blocks are the best solution, but then pivot to saying 'i am disagree with this statement' in the second paragraph. This lack of a consistent position makes it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. While you provide some reasons for both sides, such as space efficiency versus noise and heat issues, the ideas are under-developed and lack specific examples or logical depth. To improve, you must choose a clear stance and maintain it throughout the essay, ensuring that your supporting arguments are logically connected to your main thesis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks effective paragraphing and cohesive devices. The text is essentially a series of run-on sentences with very few transition words to guide the reader. For example, you use 'however' and 'while' in ways that do not effectively link contrasting ideas. The lack of punctuation, particularly the absence of full stops, makes the text difficult to parse. Ideas are presented in a somewhat repetitive manner, and the conclusion does not provide a clear summary of your position, instead stating that 'both statements can be noticed,' which further confuses the reader regarding your actual stance.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic phrases such as 'tall apartment' and 'big cities' without variation. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'fulfill the living standards' and 'brain health of the people,' which sound unnatural. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise academic vocabulary and synonyms to avoid repetition. For instance, instead of repeating 'tall apartment,' you could use terms like 'high-rise residential complexes,' 'vertical housing,' or 'multi-story developments.'
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammar is a significant area for improvement. The essay consists almost entirely of run-on sentences, lacking necessary full stops and commas to separate independent clauses. This makes the text very difficult to read. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the tall apartment blocks offers') and article usage (e.g., 'in the large cities'). You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures. To improve, you need to focus on basic sentence punctuation and attempt to incorporate a wider variety of complex sentence structures, such as using relative clauses or subordinating conjunctions correctly.
