Student answer (Band 5.0)

My point in this regard is agree but on several restricted notes.

To met the rising demand on every year, with increasing the cost of building homes such as expensive constructions, materials, design, across border import policies, tariffs. The demand and supplier are badly impacted due to such reasons.

The reason to build the tall apartments/buildings in large cities is to met higher demand with a limited resource such as area. Into single apartment with an approval of relevant government authorities we can manage multiple residents. Considering the example of Middle east, UAE. The UAE is considered the hub of real estate and there are tremendous tall building meeting the demand of every year housing.

I've go-through the case study of one of the most well known real estate developer, Kim Jahon, He made remarks into his conference that he was provided a contract of delivery residency to 100 peoples on a single 1000 square yards. He has build 50 floors with multiple sections into building and accomodated more than 100 peoples. The building consider the remarkable toursit spot. Alot of foreigners came to have a picture with a builder.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you attempt to address the prompt by agreeing with the statement, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient depth. The explanation regarding the UAE is vague, and the case study provided is anecdotal and lacks clear relevance to the broader urban planning debate. To improve, you must expand your arguments with more detailed analysis and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for a full exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. Paragraphing is inconsistent, and the logical progression of ideas is hindered by fragmented sentences and a lack of cohesive devices. Transitions between ideas are often missing or awkward, such as the sudden shift from discussing the UAE to the specific case study of 'Kim Jahon'. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') would help create a more coherent response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, which occasionally impedes communication. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'met the rising demand on every year' instead of 'meet the rising demand each year' and 'supplier' used instead of 'supply'. The phrasing is often repetitive, and the attempt to use more sophisticated vocabulary is hindered by these persistent errors. You should focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are issues with verb tense consistency (e.g., 'He has build' instead of 'He has built'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary articles and prepositions. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are often faulty, leading to a lack of clarity. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like tense usage and pluralization.
