In this new scenario , it is sometimes argued that the good way to provide enough houses in big cities to make tall apartment blocks for better facilities. Indeed, i accord this ideology as upcoming paragraph, and this essay intends to delve deeper into certain arguments to advocate my view.
The most conspicuous reason for agreeing with notion is that large cities have very limited land and high population density. To be more specific, tall buildings can house hundreds of families on the same piece of land where only 5-10 houses would fit. Furthermore, construction cost per unit is lower when you build tall. In other words, easier and cheaper for authorities to provide water, electricity, transport, internet to one building than to 100 separate houses. Better use of public transport and infastructure.
Additionally, homes are expensive so , that is the reason build tall apartments. More precisely, high risk buildings provide cheaper accommodation for people. Utilize proper space efficiently for big houses. Moreover, high risk buildings are purposefully built in good way. This is because provide many amenities such as security, proper parking, shared gyms and pools for citizens and playing ground for children to boost their physical strength. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of tall apartment blocks. While the main ideas—land scarcity, cost-efficiency, and amenities—are relevant, they are often under-developed. For example, the argument about 'high risk buildings' (likely meaning high-rise) is repetitive and lacks clear explanation. The conclusion is somewhat disjointed and fails to effectively summarize the main points or provide a final thought that reinforces the initial position. To improve, you should expand on your supporting points with more specific examples and ensure your conclusion clearly restates your stance rather than introducing new, slightly confusing phrasing.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. While you use cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'Additionally,' they are sometimes used to connect ideas that do not follow logically. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the final paragraph where the connection between 'multi story building' and 'comfortable live' is fragmented. To reach a higher band, focus on creating smoother transitions between sentences and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that builds toward your overall argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'good way' and 'big cities' rather than more precise academic alternatives. There are also noticeable errors in word choice, such as using 'high risk buildings' when you clearly meant 'high-rise buildings,' and 'accord this ideology' which is not a natural collocation. Spelling errors, such as 'infastructure' and 'deadcated,' also occur. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to urban planning and housing, and proofread carefully to ensure you are using words that accurately convey your intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'this is because provide many amenities'), article usage, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'so , that is the reason build tall apartments'). Punctuation is also problematic, with spaces missing before commas and inconsistent capitalization. While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors require the reader to work harder to follow your argument. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for grammatical agreement would significantly improve your score.
