In this new scenario, to settle the large population, this is the better way to provide homes in large cities to build tall apartment blocks to maintain the accommodation for people. I fully accord with this ideology and this essay intends to delve deeper into certain arguments to advocate my view.

The most conspicuous reason for agreeing with this notion is that there is scarcity of land to accommodate the individuals. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 178 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the arguments are underdeveloped. For instance, the point about 'scarcity of land' is mentioned but not explored with sufficient depth or logical progression. The essay ends abruptly mid-sentence, meaning the conclusion and final supporting points are missing. To improve, you must ensure you fully develop each paragraph with clear explanations and relevant examples, and always complete your essay with a summary.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay shows some attempt at logical organization, with an introduction and body paragraphs. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'and' to connect clauses. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the abrupt ending of the text prevents a coherent conclusion. Paragraphing is present, but the lack of completion in the final paragraph disrupts the overall flow. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting details.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'big buildings' and 'good' rather than more precise academic language. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'fully accord with this ideology' (which sounds unnatural in this context) and 'separated apartments'. The range is insufficient to express complex ideas effectively. To improve, try to incorporate topic-specific vocabulary related to urban planning and housing, and focus on using more sophisticated synonyms to avoid repeating the same words throughout your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with sentence structure, such as run-on sentences and fragments (e.g., 'In other words the high rise buildings are best because...'). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also inconsistent. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate or poorly constructed. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction before attempting more complex ones. Ensure you use correct punctuation and check for basic errors like missing verbs or incorrect verb forms.
