Student answer (Band 5.5)

I strongly agree from my perspective the most benificial to contribute enough homes in a huge cities in to construct the highest apartment buildings.

In the apartment buildings mostly presents the support facilities system but in the individual home does not have any categorized system when we facing issues. The recovery team or any particular special person allocated by the apartment owners if any trouble had in a blocks. For an instance in the winter season rain were consistant dropped at the time hardly affected by the particular apartment people. Although if it may effect overall blocks suddenly a team allocated for them to rescue such as childcare , safety team and food distributor in the critical moment done by the respective apartment support systems while an individual home does not had these kind of facilities supports. On the other hand fire accident happening means a several emergency fire engine inside in the apartments incase anyone facing fire accident on their block simultaneously they call fire engine additionally they could assist them with in a minute. These several ways are not equal approaches would had by the individual homes in the large cities.

Furthermore time management could facilitates more to the people lives in the blocks of flats. Therefore if any necessary products requires by the flat people they could purchase in the apartment store insides. Moreover in apartment there are some branch shops would present consequently flat customers can able to purchase directly from the apartment stores time management could saves more whereas visiting the local shops outside the apartment. For an example in a block present heart patient they want emergency medicine in the apartment has a 24 hours opening pharmacy it could support them at any time. although we could save our time instead of living a separate home and wasting time to searching for available stores.

In conclusion individual homes present in the huge cities place would best for networking and reports our issues with others however in worst case like accident or emergency purpose nobody is going to assist in outer areas. Finally apartment blocks had many supporting system and guides for them to live a peaceful life and protects our life in vital situations. For this reasons i believe that housing complexes construct tall i would essential for the people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of tall apartment blocks. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. While you provide reasons such as support systems and convenience, the arguments are not fully extended or supported with sophisticated reasoning. For instance, the discussion on 'time management' is slightly tangential to the core issue of housing provision. To improve, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-developed argument that directly relates to the necessity of high-rise living in large cities, rather than focusing primarily on the amenities within those buildings.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'therefore' and 'consequently' which do not always fit the context. Some transitions between sentences are abrupt, making the flow feel disjointed. For example, the transition between the discussion of emergency services and the introduction of 'time management' lacks a smooth logical bridge. Improving the variety and precision of linking words will help the essay flow more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'benificial to contribute enough homes' instead of 'beneficial for providing enough homes' and 'support facilities system'. Some terms are used incorrectly, such as 'reports our issues' when you likely meant 'address our issues'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'individual home does not had'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. For example, 'if any trouble had in a blocks' is grammatically incorrect and confusing. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic tense consistency and pluralization rules.
