Student answer (Band 5.5)
Living in a large city and to avail all the facilities by every citizen is a problem in all parts of the world. However, it's a right of each member of the community to take advantage of services and the resources that are present in their country. The individual of the nation is fighting with many difficulties for instance no employment, inflation in addition health problem but the main issue that the person is facing living in their home town is where to live and mostly middle class and lower level people are facing it.
I think government should take some necessary steps to overcome these obstacles with which humans are dealing. I believe that it is a great step to build enough homes in mega city as to provide vast apartment blocks so that the large number of people can reside in it. Building massive flats can reduce numerous complications. If people are living in a separate house so they will deal with significant issue for example severage, safety moreover robbery. As compare to apartments they will not face such difficulties because in terms of safety there will be security guards and all safety protocols like the gate closing timings and non resident of the flat would not enter in the society without any permission as they will also be protected from robbery and abduction cases and in the condition of severage all the member of the community will contribute together and so saving will be done.
To conclude this, as it has advantages it has some disadvantages like blockage of wind.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt but lacks depth. While you state your position clearly, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack specific examples or evidence to support your claims. The discussion on 'sewerage' and 'safety' is relevant, but the development is limited. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your ideas by explaining the 'why' and 'how' more thoroughly. The conclusion is very brief and fails to summarize your main points effectively, merely mentioning a disadvantage without balancing it against your initial argument. Ensure that each paragraph provides a clear, well-supported point that directly relates to the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is hindered by awkward transitions and sentence structure. While you use some cohesive devices like 'for instance' and 'in addition', they are sometimes used incorrectly or feel mechanical. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between 'separate house' and 'significant issue' is slightly disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence flows naturally into the next. Paragraphing is present, but the final paragraph is underdeveloped and does not function as a proper conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing and some words are used incorrectly, such as 'severage' (sewerage) and 'non resident of the flat'. There is also some repetition of words like 'difficulties' and 'safety'. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to urban planning and housing, and focus on using collocations more accurately. Avoid informal phrasing and aim for a more academic tone throughout the essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government should take'), article usage (e.g., 'in mega city'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'to avail all the facilities by every citizen'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and practice constructing more complex, error-free sentences.
