Student answer (Band 4.5)
In view, the better path to anticipate enough accommodation in major large cities is to make big and tall flats blocks.
Overall, it can be seen that many countries and cities have to grow and through this they have to make more accommodation for citizens who live there and increase their country GDP. My view is that to make accommodation without give or make harm to nature or environment.
Moreover, it illustrate that everyone has right to grow and make their wealth but when making or plan of construct big apartment then we have to considered our environment too because nature is the key to maintain our health. The tall apartment blocks is the best way to use of land in small area because they stand number or stories which we also known as flats or apartment through this the land is not needed and everyone has their own home.
On the other hand, there are many drawbacks of this because many corrupt citizen take land from poor people and if they dont give them their land they will torcher them and the another factor of the apartment making is that the environment is effect because they cut thousands of tree and plant just to make the building and clear the land this is the only reason and drawback to make apartment instead of this all making apartment block is very inniovative experiment.
My view is that to construct the blocks but dont harm the environment because this is the only thing which we human can reli on.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether building tall apartment blocks is the best way to provide homes in large cities. The writer presents a position that tall buildings are useful for land efficiency, provided they do not harm the environment. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding environmental concerns and corruption among citizens. The position is discernible, but the arguments lack sufficient elaboration and clear structuring to reach a higher band. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the overall depth of task response aligns with a Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, which shows an attempt at structural organisation. However, progression within and between paragraphs is heavily disrupted by poor cohesive referencing and abrupt shifts in topic. Phrases like 'Overall, it can be seen that' and 'On the other hand' are used mechanically rather than logically to connect ideas. Furthermore, pronouns and referencing terms often lack clear antecedents, making the flow difficult to follow in places such as 'this is the only reason and drawback to make apartment instead of this all making apartment block'. Overall organisation remains basic, earning a Band 4.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms like 'make', 'good', and 'big'. There are notable word choice and collocation errors throughout the text, such as 'anticipate enough accommodation' instead of 'provide enough housing', and 'torcher' instead of 'torture'. Less common vocabulary is attempted with significant inaccuracy, for instance, 'inniovative experiment' and 'GDP' used out of clear contextual integration. Spelling and morphological errors are noticeable and occasionally impede readability, placing the lexical performance at a Band 4.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple or poorly connected compound sentences. Attempts at complex sentences frequently result in serious grammatical faults, run-on structures, and confusing syntax, as seen in sentences like 'The tall apartment blocks is the best way to use of land in small area because they stand number or stories which we also known as flats or apartment through this the land is not needed'. Frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, tense consistency, and punctuation heavily impact clarity, warranting a Band 4.0.
