IELTS Writing Task 2 question

The best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people believes that the best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks and I also agree with this saying into somewhat extent because for some person home means just a family while for some person the meaning of home for them might be just a big house or a big apartment. It depends upon the person personal feelings.

Overall, if there is a big and wide apartments then all the empty walls and empty corner can be filled with our interested things. We got separate rooms and can have privacy of our own however, if we got small apartments then for the relatives or for guests and visitors there might not be enough place to sleep or have time together with. There are it's own advantages and disadvantages.

Moreover, cities are the mostly crowdy and noisy place and that is also the one of the reason that people living their has mostly become frustrated and greedy and they love showing off so in thinking of that most people would love to have big apartments rather than tiny apartments. Also, in cities people believe that having a big place to live gains them respects and benefits while making connections with other high profile people because of that they might even don't know the meaning of home.

As for some people like me home is the definition of having a people loving and caring and appreciating us in any kind of moment. For people like us if we are with the person with whom we feel comfortable and important is a great home. Home cannot be only describe as the place where we live it just might be another person still while talking about cities, a person needs all is to eat, live and wear something onto. We can get that even in tiny apartments, if the person is satisfy with then.
