IELTS Writing Task 2 question

The best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The interesting way to give people homes in metropolitan cities by developing making the apartment building rather than allocate a space for separate housing. I can agree with this statement.

The main thing is it can make the work for the governments easier to provide homes. People are living together in one building with different apartments and help each other when in need. It can create a less financial burden. A specific space allocate to the each family in building according to the size of the is family members.

Secondly, more people are adjusted in developed cities, more extensive opportunities can be generated. More educational centers are opened. Additionally, significant amount of individuals get the education. Basic facilities of life can be available from every apartment. All utilities expenses of the society are same.

There is also some negative aspects as much the family member are increasing. You need more space to accomodate. Moreover in buildings all are living together you have no privacy that you can spend time with himself.

To be conclude that positive aspects of but providing homes in apartments are slightly greater than the negative aspects. We used that kind of strategy to build more homes to entertain more people create more opportunities for the youngsters. Providing all the basic facilities to the individuals that they live a quality of life.
