Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response struggles to address the prompt directly. Instead of focusing on the prompt's core question regarding whether building tall apartment blocks is the best way to provide housing in large cities, the student mostly lists random features of large cities, such as "better Education and beautifull place and different hotels and family parks." Although the writer mentions being in agreement with the statement, the ideas presented lack development and do not properly engage with the theme of high-rise urban housing. There is some attempt to acknowledge opposing views ("some people disagree the large cities . Forexample polluction, trafice problems"), but overall, the task response is extremely limited and tangential to the actual prompt, aligning with the Band 4 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The logical organization and progression of ideas are severely hindered by the lack of clear sentence structures and improper paragraphing. The response begins with disjointed introductory fragments like "Describe the statement the best way of provied your home in large cities." While transition words like "Firstly" and "Secondly" are attempted, they are followed by chaotic strings of loosely connected nouns and adjectives rather than cohesive arguments. Referencing is frequently unclear, and the text lacks logical transitions between sentences. Paragraphing is attempted but poorly executed, resulting in an overall lack of coherence that severely impacts readability, fitting the Band 4 level.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is very basic, repetitive, and plagued by severe spelling errors. The writer frequently recycles words such as "beautifull", "cities", and "best", while attempting uncommon lexical items without success, resulting in non-standard forms like "provied", "educationsal", "greendly", and "unviresty". Spelling mistakes and incorrect word forms appear in almost every sentence (e.g., "polluction", "trafice", "accpect", "claural"). Because the errors are so pervasive and frequently strain the reader's ability to grasp the intended meaning, the response sits firmly within Band 4 for lexical resource.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatical control is extremely weak throughout the response. There is a complete absence of complex sentence structures used accurately, and basic sentence boundaries are frequently broken by run-on clauses and fragmented thoughts, such as "And more excellent teachers and and the most imporant better Hospitals and well educationsal doctors and best checkup." Subject-verb agreement errors, missing verbs, and incorrect prepositions are pervasive (e.g., "I am agree this statement", "the large cities is the best"). Errors occur in almost every sentence and frequently distort the meaning, representing the characteristics of Band 4 grammar.
