Now a days constructing sufficient houses in apartments and towers is the best choice in bigger cities. It could reduce cost of the houses construction and housing shortage.

Larger cities have limited land and this could become a problem to accommodate multiple families and people. In recent years, land values were significantly increased, particularly in metropolitan cities where the place is reasonable commute to all facilities. When we construct housed as taller apartments and towers it will not only reduce the cost of construction but also save money investing on the land and it could be helpful to give accommodation to multiple people in small areas and provide all types of benefits from a single place.

Moreover, Building many homes in one location can reduce housing pressure and allow residents to live closer to jobs, public transport, schools, and other services. Reasonable commute is the most prioritised thing in this developed world because convenience can reduce the time management pressure for all types of people and best option for school children. Housing in apartments can be easy and reliable and managements and maintenance teams could take care of all problems in the housing and maintenance issues.

So, yes, living in apartments can be the best option and allow us to live peacefully, help us to save money and reduced the cost of living and individual construction cost burden on people and living in a single place could be easily reliable and commute also become easy for all types of people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position in favour of tall apartment blocks as the best solution for urban housing shortages. The writer presents relevant main ideas, such as reducing construction costs, saving land, and providing proximity to jobs and public transport. However, some ideas are somewhat repetitive and lack deeper extension or specific examples from real-world contexts, keeping the development at a moderate level. For instance, the point about convenience and time management is mentioned but not fully elaborated. Nevertheless, all parts of the task are addressed, and the overall stance is maintained throughout the essay, which aligns well with the descriptors for Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct ideas, such as financial benefits in the second paragraph and lifestyle convenience in the third. However, cohesion at the sentence level is sometimes mechanical or faulty, such as the repetitive use of additive conjunctions and conjunctions like 'So, yes,' at the beginning of the conclusion. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, and logical progression between some sentences feels slightly disjointed due to run-on structures. These features reflect the characteristics of Band 6.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-specific terms such as 'metropolitan cities', 'housing shortage', 'maintenance teams', and 'public transport'. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, but some word choices and collocations are awkward or inaccurate, such as 'construct housed as taller apartments' instead of 'building taller apartment blocks', and 'time management pressure'. Spelling and word-choice errors do occur, but they do not impede communication. This demonstrates the lexical control typical of a Band 6 performance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over multi-clause sentences. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and punctuation issues throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement and word form errors like 'land values were significantly increased', 'money investing on the land', and 'reduced the cost of living and individual construction cost burden'. Run-on sentences, such as the final conclusion sentence, also reduce overall accuracy. While communication is not impeded, the frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a Band 7.
