Student answer (Band 5.5)
The efficient method to give sufficient amount of homes in large cities by considering a major factor of land shortage in big cities is to built tall apartments blocks. I totally agree with this way providing homes to peoples in large cities.Because in the Mega cities likes Mumbai , New delhi and others they holds a huge amount of population in them and every person who lives and work in large cities they have heartful wish to own its own home and that's why it have huge dmemand of houses and we also considerd the major issue of land shortage in these big cities. thats why apartment is a good method of providing homes .
The main reason of mine agree with this method because it gives a proper house to considerable size of population in same land.In fact, It also create a social society in these type of apartment where people can intract with eachother and know eachother and get socialize more easily rather making a own home in personal land and also this method is more affordable as compare to making a house in a single land in large cities. for instance like builders like Lodha group or DLF builders who provides these type of apartments builing in New Delhi and Mumbai .
However , It also fullfill the heartfull wish of every single person who works and dream about owing it own house one day rather than living whole life in a rented house and pay a major chunk of it salary to pay its house rent and other maintainance cost .
To conclude, I support this way of fullfilling the sufficent amount of homes in large cities by making apartment blocks and making a common man dream of owing it's house become true.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position agreeing with the statement that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide enough homes in large cities. The student provides relevant ideas, such as land shortage, affordability, and the creation of social communities within apartment buildings, citing examples like Lodha group or DLF builders. However, some ideas are repetitive and underdeveloped, and the reasoning relies heavily on generalised statements rather than deep elaboration. When compared against the band descriptors, the response successfully covers all parts of the task with a clear position, fitting comfortably into Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, and there is a discernible overall progression from introduction to arguments and conclusion. However, cohesion is often faulty or mechanical. The writer uses basic cohesive devices like 'However', 'To conclude', and 'for instance', but sentence linking is frequently awkward due to run-on sentences and punctuation errors. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronoun usage ('it have huge dmemand', 'they holds'). Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion lacks smooth transitions. This performance aligns with Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'shortage', 'affordable', and 'maintainance'. However, there are numerous word choice, spelling, and collocation errors that impede readability at times, such as 'built tall apartments blocks', 'dmemand', 'intract', 'socialize more easily rather making a own home', and 'fullfill'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the core message, the high frequency of lexical and spelling inaccuracies prevents the response from reaching Band 6.0, placing it securely at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('every person... they have', 'they holds', 'apartment is'), tense inconsistencies, and faulty complex structures. Many sentences are overly long run-on sentences joined by commas or conjunctions without proper punctuation. While the meaning is generally understandable despite the errors, the high frequency of structural inaccuracies prevents a higher score. This corresponds to Band 5.0 descriptors.
